We are seeking a conscientious and hardworking R&D Battery Materials Technician to join our Electrolyte Development Team and support groundbreaking experimental work.

Available shifts Shift 5:30 PM- 2:00AM, 6:30 PM- 6:30 am Wed- Sat. 2:30-11 pm Sun- Thur or Tue - Sat, 8:30-5:00 pm,

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to support experimental activities while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Execute materials processing tasks for R&D experiments.
  • Build ceramic coatings on substrates using R2R coaters and transition them into battery material films through high-volume web processing, pouch cells, and proprietary devices following SOPs or under scientific supervision.
  • Document daily experimental progress and communicate completion status using MS Office tools and an internal tracking system.
  • Identify and communicate anomalies or unexpected results during experimental work.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to excel in a dynamic research environment.
  • Willingness to learn a broad range of laboratory techniques.
  • Comfort working daily within a Clean Dry Room environment.
  • Flexibility to collaborate across different projects and researchers.
  • Confidence using software tools for task execution and data logging.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a lab-based R&D environment
  • or
  • Completion of a 2-4-year technical degree program.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality results and a genuine passion for the mission of advancing next-generation energy storage technologies.
